We recently visited Hayashi for dinner on a Sunday evening during a day trip to Antwerp. The restaurant is conveniently located next to MAS Museum. The food was delicious - we ordered the Complete Teppanyaki menu, along with salmon sashimi, sushi and a hand roll. The fish was fresh and sushi was great. It was an amazing experience to watch the chefs in action as they cooked our food in front of us. The complete menu was a great variety of food, with good portions. Service here is excellent, and staff were very attentive and polite. We throughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend!
I adored eating at Hayashi! Everything was perfect and fresh, we even enjoyed the cooking show: we watched the chef cook for us and we had a flame show. I had the sole fish main course it way good. The ice cream flavours are really unique: i tried green tea and sesame and they were both very special and tasty.
So good Japanese restaurant that I am still thrilled when recall dining there one summer night with a top score teppanyaki shrimp rich dinner with some veggie and rice of course. The place is in the docks area so a nice walk is a free bonus. The native Japanese team in this restaurant is excellent, not only in the teppanyaki art but also explaining what you are supposed to eat. Believe me, they were even able to convince me fully confused to try shrimp heads, well, they tasted great! Strongly recommend.
Nice venue, good quality of food and wine (reasonably priced). A small point of critique is the ambient noise. Measures of noise reduction from the surrounding guests would improve the experience.
Very thrilling culinary experience: exquisite bites and dishes combined with exciting show-cooking. Well suited to groups. Excellent staff, atmospheric setting, good location with plenty of cheap parking nearby. I'll definitely return. Highly recommend!
I fell in love with this restaurant! Food preparation is spectacular, just in front of you. Chefs and stuff are very kind, helpful, smart with sense of humour. If i could give more stars to recommend this place... Definitely must go for amazing experiences!
Amazing Japanese restaurant! Many different options ; a la carte, menus and also options vegetarians. Also large choice of drinks. We've been in Japan few months ago and it really gave us the same feeling as when we were there, and it's positive! Good quality food and also a nice "show". Friendly staff, very quick aswel. I totally recommend ! Good experience :) Arigato gozaimasu.
